GC Team Competition
There will be a season-long team competition for Georgia Cup in 2009. The team competition will build upon the existing Georgia Cup individual points series system used for many years. After each event, the individual series points will be summed up for the top five riders of each team in the following racing divisions [Competitive (Cat 4) , Masters (35/45+) , Elite (Cat 3), and Pro12] to produce each team's score. The top 10 teams in these racing divisions will be ranked and posted on the GC website. At the end of the year, a team competition podium ceremony will celebrate the top 3 teams in each of these divisions. In addition, the winning team in each of these racing divisions will earn the right to place a Georgia Cup Team Competition winner's insignia on their 2010 racing kits.
